As we seek to extend grace and love to our neighbours, it must be accompanied with truth and wisdom. Singing and listening to scripture is but one way that we can study, act on and share the Word of God. As God desires of us to grow in Christ-likeness, so should we also desire it of our neighbours.

Recognising the seed of sin within us, any humanistic effort toward social justice will be fraught with sinful ambition, whether consciously or unconsciously. Therefore, it is paramount that we wholly lean on God to lead us as we seek to serve our neighbours.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
