About the Piece
This carnatic korvai in adi tala is composed by master mridangist Karaikudi Mani, taught to me by my guru V. Raghuraman. It is an exciting mathematically precise piece where each entity is slowly multiplied in each new rendering of the piece.
Listen out for how each entity is first recited once, then twice, and finally thrice in the third rendition.

Music Notation:
And here's the piece written out in western music notation. While it definitely does not capture every nuance of the composition and how it is to be performed, it is arguably (and in my opinion) the most comprehensive system of notation yet.
