Learning Through Music
Music can be learnt as an art in itself, but it can also be an effective means to learn other important lessons. Through exploring the musical styles of various cultures, we learn not only varied approaches to creating music but also about the people that create it. Music can help us develop listening and communication skills, facilitate team building, build self-confidence, develop motor skills, the list goes on!
In 'Music for Workshopping', I conduct experiential hands-on workshops and deliver presentations on a wide array of music-related subjects. The programmes and syllabi of each session can and will be tailored to suit the needs of each specific audience group.
Music for Workshopping
Hands-on and experiential, these sessions will use music as a means to impart meaningful lessons to participants. Difficulty can range from beginner to advanced levels and can be tailored to all audiences of all ages. These workshops can include a performance segment if desired!
Talks & Presentations
If a more presentational style is preferred, I offer talks and presentations on topics including hybrid music artistry, music for well-being and acoustic guitar technique. The format of each session is also highly flexible and can include performance segments.
